Kmail should be intelligent enough to place signatures below quoted text. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Ensure that "use signature" is enabled Open an email Highlight some text Click reply Actual Results: Signature is placed above the quoted text Expected Results: One or more blank lines and the signature should have been placed below the quoted text. Currently, the only workaround is to use custom templates, however this fails when top posting is expected. Kmail should be be smart enough to recognize when bottom posting is appropriate, as in the case of selectively quoting a prior email.
