Version:           1.2 (using KDE 4.4.3) 
OS:                Linux

I got from 2 different IRC servers (therefore I don#t beliefe that it is a bug in IRC server software) this :

(#uml channel at irc.oftc.net, hybrid-7.2.2+oftc1.6.8) :
[20:04] [275] toralf is connected via SSL (secure link) is connected via SSL (secure link)

and this :
(#gentoo-kde channel at irc.freenode.net, Version ircd-seven-1.0.2) :
[20:03] [378] toralf is connecting from *@e177122030.adsl.alicedsl.de 85.177.122.30 is connecting from *@e177122030.adsl.alicedsl.de 85.177.122.30

Reproducible: Always


Actual Results:  
should be shown only once


OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.34
Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc

no issue in 1.3.1
