openoffice document to be opened in kword

SOFTWARE VERSION:
  Kubuntu 9.04
  Koffice (svn version 1026239)
  Test document (OpenOffice 3.0): oo_header_fill.odt

STEPS LEADING TO THE PROBLEM:
  1. Open the attached document in OpenOffice.
  2. Open the same document in KOffice.
  3. Observe the header of the document in first page.

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
  Kword should be able to display color filled header.
  Background color should be displayed for header.
  as seen in attachment header_filled_color_openoffice.png

ACTUAL OUTCOME:
  Kword does not display header filled with color.Header
  with simple text is shown.
