If the installed .mo file contains the right string, can it still be a problem of the German translation?
In trunk that string is translated. Does using that file (msgfmt ... you know the drill) fix the problem?

Myriam, sorry. It must be really an Amarok problem.

(Tried also current po from svn and amarok snapshot 20100720 ...)

Reason is a broken xml markup in amarok/src/services/magnatune/MagnatuneSignupDialogBase.ui.

Change """ to """, unfuzzy the translation in lokalize via Ctrl+U after scripty's next run, install the po file and the translation will be displayed properly.
