Description jeffnberyl 2010-05-26 12:49:40 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 1.2)
OS: Linux

Computer downloads Virus updates OK.However, when a scan is attempted the message"no virus database found" appears. The scan report shows "The application Text Editor (kwrite) crashed and caused the signal 11 SIGSEGV. Computer is Eee 900 using Linux os. Not sure of KDE version.

Reproducible: Didn't try
Comment 1 Christoph Feck 2010-05-26 15:28:14 UTC
Virus scanners are not part of the KDE Software Compilation. You might ask in ASUS forums what application the Eee 900 uses as the virus scanner.

If you can reproduce the crash in KWrite, please file a bug report with the backtrace for product "kate".
