Description Daniel Mader 2010-05-26 12:36:37 UTC
Version: 4.4.3 (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux

not sure if this is an enhancement in the calendar component or the email components: it would be nice to be able to choose if a todo entry or a regular calendar entry should be created from an email. Currently, only todos are possible, which are harder to synchronize, and add a layer of complexity for most regular users.

Please also add a straightforward calendar entry option.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
In an email windows, right click and choose "Create Todo/Reminder...": only todo is possible then, even when the Todo component is disabled in Kontact!

Actual Results:
A todo item can be specified.

Expected Results:
It should be possible to choose between todo and regular calendar entry (no due date and percentage, etc., added to the default calendar or any other one.)

this was implemented in kmail a long time ago.

the message context menu has options for creating an Event, Todo or Note.
