I like HTML mail. Being a photographer I'm on Flickr and some other imagery-related websites, which send emails with images when my friends upload new photos.

I don't want to allow KMail to download all external references, for obvious security reasons. However, for selected senders I always want to load external references. Now I have to click "by clicking here" for each and every of those messages.

Thunderbird has a feature where you can specify per contact in your address book whether they are allowed to load external references. I would really enjoy seeing this feature in KMail.
