Version: 1.1.0 (using 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0), MS Visual Studio 2008 SP1) Compiler: cl.exe OS: Microsoft Windows (i686) release 5.1 (XP Professional) Steps to reproduce: - "Import"->"Add images..." - choose a folder - "Image"->"Download/delete all" - choose an album Digikam crashes in this situation. This crash can be reproduced always. The first times I got a message saying that libjpeg failed to turn the image because jpg files don't start with this sequence. But actually I get only the normal crash window asking if I want to report the problem to Microsoft.
We'd need a backtrace and the console output while the crash occurs. Please see http://www.digikam.org/drupal/contrib (though I'm not sure how that works on Windows)
Marcel, For windows, all is explained there : http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/Debugging_on_MS_Windows I use debugView program on my computer. It can be installed using KDE installer for windows. Gilles Caulier
Well, after some hours, I figured out the debug process works. However, I could not reproduce the crash anymore. Will report again when I can reproduce again.
