Description Lars Noodén 2010-05-21 14:15:42 UTC
Version: 1.2.0 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-22-generic

When importing images sometimes the new, different image has the same name as an existing image. In those cases it is necessary to rename the new image. The buttons on the rename file dialog box each have hot keys, but when a button is inactive (greyed out), the hotkeys are interpreted as regular keys.

For example, if "Suggest New Name" has not been chosen, then "Rename" is still unavailable. But pressing alt-r will act like regular 'r'. Alt-r should do nothing at all until the "Rename" button becomes active.

Pressing alt-r while the button is greyed out will result in a regular r.

Since digiKam 5.0.0, as we reduce a lots all KDE dependencies, we remove the KFileRename dialog and implement an automatic renaming in case of duplicates file names detected while downloading from camera
