These 2 offers mentioned are okular & gimp, probably.
Have you them installed?
If so, are they working well with that pdf? Download it and try to open, at
least with okular.
Is the site working with another browser? eg: konqueror, firefox?

Thanks for info.
Comment 2 Gandalf Lechner 2010-05-21 14:05:11 UTC
- okular and gimp are installed and work fine with the downloaded pdf.
- pdf links open (using okular) with firefox or konqueror.
- it's not specific to some pdf, rekonq crashes immediately after clicking any pdf link, so fast that it cannot have downloaded the pdf in the meantime.
- this happens for both the 0.4 and 0.4.70 version.
- however, on a different computer rekonq works nicely with pdf links without crashes. i don't know what makes the difference ...

I'll take this bug open then, to hear from you what "makes the difference".
Can you pls check a bit about?
Comment 4 Andrea Diamantini 2010-06-05 02:38:17 UTC
No info... As rekonq doesn't crash in one of the two, can be considered innocent for this problem.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=613482

I cannot check on different machines. However, I run on this crash with both rekonq and konqueror+webkitpart.
On the contrary, firefox launches okular, and the pdf file is opened.

My feeling is that the problem might be at one of the following levels:
- webkit
- embedding okular

Here is a crash report.

Can this bug be reopened and reassigned?

I'm not sure I can reassign this somewhere with the unuseful bt you attached.
I can just CC kwebkitpart main developer to see if he has some hints for you.
