Description Roman Fietze 2010-05-21 08:10:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.3)
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

I had selected emacs as an external editor in the kmail composer settings. Then I started editing a mail, wanted to turn the external editor off to do some things using kmails own editor.

So inside the composer windows I selected Settings -> Configure KMail -> Composer and turned the external editor off and clicked Ok. But I still had Emacs coming up when hitting the first key.

This setting was only active when leaving the composer end editing the mail again or editing a new mail.

When I remember it correctly then this worked on older versions of kmail. But that might have been the 3.5 versions already.
