Description Sabine Faure 2010-05-17 22:21:50 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

- Launch Kontact
- Go to Kmail
- Click on 'New Message' button
- Fill in the recipient (yourself using an Imap account), subject and enter a few words in the text editor
- Click on 'Send' button

The email should be moved to the outbox and then saved in the sent-mail folder whereas at the moment the Composer dialogue closes and nothing more seems to happen.

However, the email is properly sent (I can see it when checking my Imap resource from a different computer using Kontact 4.4.1 and Kmail 1.13.1).
See bug #237978 for details about not seeing the new email in my Imap resource inbox from Kontact trunk.

Hi Sabine,

Can you still reproduce this?

Take care not to delete your Local Folder Resource/Account before hand (like discussed in bug 237279).

Also, please start with a fresh startup instances of akonadi and kmail (that is close them both then restart them).

I suspect this is a duplicate of 237279

Should be a result of a non-working local folders or maildispatcher agent. Closing, please re-open if it persists and we'll debug.
Comment 3 Sabine Faure 2010-07-07 23:25:44 UTC
Indeed that must have been the result of a non-working Local Folders.

It is corrected now so I am verifying this bug.
