Description Sabine Faure 2010-05-17 21:47:57 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

- Launch Kmail
- Click on 'New' button
- Enter a recipient email address, a subject and a few lines
- Click on 'Send' button
- The email is moved to the outbox but it is never received on by the recipient

- Go to K menu and enter 'Akonadi Configuration' in the search field at the top
- Go to the 'Akonadi Server Configuration' tab and click on the 'stop' button
- The message in bold becomes 'The Akonadi server is NOT running'
- Click on 'Restart' button
- Try to send a new email

This time the email should arrive properly.

If it does not:
- Stop the Akonadi server
- Shut down your computer.
- Restart the computer
- Send another email

The email is received properly by the recipient.

Can you still reproduce? I think all of your bugreports that have to do with Send Later, outbox, Local Folders, drafts, are a result of a broken Local Folders resource. That said, i'm not sure why it's not working. It is also the case that I have made various fixes to the Local Folders stuff in the last few weeks, so it's possible that they have just all gone away.

I am closing this bug since it has not happened in a while now.
