In a current user session the recent application history in the kickoff and the traditional menu is present. After a logoff or a reboot is it empty, but the recent document history exist. You can reproduce the bug in the Kubuntu 10.04 "Live-CD" with KDE 4.4.2 , in Kubuntu 10.04 with KDE 4.4.3 from the kubuntu-ppa and Linux Mint 9 RC.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 237714 ***
Comment 2 J. Randall Owens 2010-07-07 12:01:51 UTC
I guess I don't have permissions to update it, but the bug 237714 of which this was marked as a duplicate, is now a duplicate of bug 237033, so this one should be changed to a dupe of that one also.
