Description Martin Tlustos 2010-05-14 16:26:35 UTC
Version: 2.4.3 (using 4.4.3 (KDE 4.4.3), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-22-generic

I tried to download a .deb file, but kget froze. I forced close the program and restarted it. Now the download displayed twice in the notification area, and after finishing the download, the older notification (from the crash) still is there... It alsy tells me that there are 2 jobs running, but it only shows the crashed download.

The main problem here is that KGet froze, the other aspect is just a side effect that working around would most likely be too much work with hardly any gain.

It would be great, if you could find a way to reproduce the initial problem. Also please add more information e.g.: How long did you wait before killing the app. When did it freeze --> at the beginning of the download, at the end ...

If we can track down the initial problem we can try to fix it.
