Description Robert Riemann 2010-05-13 16:18:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

I am using the neo keyboard layout with a german keyboard.

reproduce the bug:

- setxkbmap de neo
- open an app using katepart
- press AltGr+CapsLock (=mod6) + w

I expect that a square root apears (√) – works i.e. in konqueror
what happens: I delete the char on the left side of the curser, wich I would
expect when only pressing AltGr (=mod4) + w
That is the bug.

I can confirm this bug. In applications with kdepart level 6 does not work for keys which are used for navigation in level 4 except for p (qwerty v) and z (qwerty b).

Ubuntu 9.10 SVN-Version of Neo. KDE: 4.4.2

Still happens? Or is it safe to close?

Tested with KatePart on KF5, works.
