Version: (using KDE 4.4.3) Compiler: gcc 4.5.0 (though 4.3.x and 4.4.x too) -O2 -pipe -mfpmath=sse gcc from 4.3.4 to 4.5.0 OS: Linux Installed from: Gentoo Packages If panel is set to auto minimize then any? application that can be full screen is inaccessible for about 1cm on the bottom screen. What i mean by that is for example running kaffeine when you move the mouse cursor to the bottom you get all the buttons to control the playback right? Then when those buttons show up you can't click them until you are about 1 cm above the bottom. The same behavior can be found in dragon player where right click opens options menu (when full screen) but when the mouse cursor is at the bottom it doesn't show up but if you gradually move the cursor up a little then the options menu will start to show up. I suspect that other video players exhibit the same behavior when full screen which leads me to believe it is a bug in panel/plasma.
it's not 1 cm, is 1 pixel and this is the invisible window that triggers the panel unhide. unfortunately X still lacks a facility to do such a thing properly *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 199017 ***
