Description Marcelo Sales 2010-05-12 02:37:14 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

KMail from kdepim3 would mark new messages as NEW only in the first time the user would select the folder in which the messages have arrived. If the user would leave this folder and later get back to it, the messages would now be marked as "NOT READ", but not as "NEW" anymore.
KMail from kdepim4 changed this behavior. Messages are marked as "NEW" forever, unless the user reads them or manually mark them as "NOT READ". Currently, the "NEW" state is useless.
