Version: (using Devel) Compiler: gcc 4.3.2 OS: Linux Installed from: Compiled sources - Launch Kmail - Click on 'New' button - Fill in the recipient, subject and a few words - Go to Message menu/Send Later Via and select an SMTP server Nothing happens. The email is not stored in the outbox as it should be nor on any other folder. Trunk, Svn Rev 1125123
After rechecking it seems that in fact the email is sent immediately instead of being stored as it should be. That is why I could not find it in the outbox. Trunk, Svn Rev 1125123
I cannot reproduce this bug either. When I select "Send Later", the message stays in the Outbox until I select Send Queued Messages from the File menu.
I retested this today and if I display the 'Sent-Mail Folder:' combo box and select sent-mail then the email is stored in the outbox as it should. However, when I got to File menu/Send Queued Messages nothing happens. I'll report a bug about that on Friday unless it is corrected in the meantime. Trunk, Svn Rev 1125914
My behavior for this feature is different. The message is stored in the outbox folder correctly and not sent, however the "Send Queued Messages" options are disabled, so there is no way to send the messages. Note: I only have a SMTP account and "Local Folder" account Trunk, r1130668
fixed in r1133530 (casey's issue). here, even sabine's original report works fine. mails are put in the outbox, after selecting send later, they are delivered and moved to the sent-mail folder.
I retested this after resetting my configuration and now it works fine. The email is correctly stored in the outbox and after selecting 'send queued message' it is correctly sent to the recipient via the selected SMTP server as well as stored in the sent-mail folder as it should.
