Version: (using KDE 4.4.3) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages This is really not a big issue, but these pixels are staring at me. After resizing a left panel there is a white pixel in the upper and lower right corner. (I will attach a screenshot) These only occur when making the panel's width bigger. They disappear when making the width smaller. I do not know if it matters that I am using Xrender? Also I cannot switch off Xorg at the moment to test if the pixels reoccur after restarting.

if you do the following from a konsole window: kquitapp plasma-desktop rm ~/.kde/cache-*/plasma-svgelements* rm ~/.kde/cache-*/kpc/plasma* plasma-desktop does the problem persist? if so, what desktop theme are you using?
To be sure, everything is clean I did log off, deleted the mentioned files and logged in again (I did delete all files in the kpc-directory). This did not change anything. The pixels are still there. I did switch to openGL and the pixels were gone. Even resizing the panel did not bring them back. I did switch to XRender again. First the pixels were gone, too. But after sizing the panel wider the pixels did occur again. (I am using XRender because of the known black window problem with openGL and many opened windows using nvidia.) I am using the standard "Air" plasma theme. (btw. why is the setting "Desktop Theme Details" in "Advanced User Settings" and not in "Look&Feel->Appearance"? This makes it hard to find. Ah ok, I did find the Appearance->Style->Workspace tab now. But anyway the advanced settings should be another tab there, too.) I am using: Linux 2.6.33-3.slh.5-sidux-686 Videocard nVidia G72 [GeForce 7300 LE] X.Org 1.7.7 [ 1600x1200@50.0hz ] GLX Renderer GeForce 7300 LE/PCI/SSE2 GLX Version 2.1.2 NVIDIA 195.36.15
Oh, btw2: After doing the above steps my desktop-mouse-actions (mouse wheel to switch desktops, right mouse button for standard menu) did not work anymore. Invoking the settings via the cashew-nut showed me that these settings were completely lost. Can this have to do with the deleted files, though it only were cache files!?)
does it still happens to anybody in trunk?
I have tested it again: Still can reproduce it (on another sidux-PC) with KDE4.4.3, but it seems to be fixed in trunk that I did compile today. I cannot reproduce it with KDE/trunk. So I change status to fixed, ok?
yes, if it pops up again in the future just reopen
