Description Luke Plant 2010-05-10 12:00:20 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I have a bunch of google calendars that I view from korganizer using the "Calendar in Remote File" resource. When my desktop starts, korganizer opens before the network connection is ready. Because of this, and any other time when the internet connection is not available, I get a bunch of messages saying "google.com host not found" (or something like that), often about 8 in a row, or more. This is quite annoying, because I have to click to get rid of them all.

It would be much more appropriate passive notifications were used. Even better if several identical messages in a short period of time could be rolled into - perhaps that is a feature the notifications framework could implement.
