Description Ferdinand Thommes 2010-05-09 08:38:18 UTC
Version: 4.4.3-1 (using KDE 4.4.3)
Compiler: gcc 4.4.3-1
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

i have 5 often used applications in my panel between the kmenu (left) and virtual desktops in my debian sid install
even though the panel is locked, after boot 2 or 3 of those icons have moved to the left of the virtual desktop widget.
i unlock, move them back in place just to find them in the wrong place after next boot. reproducable every time since 4.4.-1
Besides that my panel is totaly default. no fancy widgets.

Happened on my 64 bit lappy 2 or 3 times, but on last bootup the icons/widgets remaained in place.

However on a 32 bit P4 box all the icon/widgets that normally start from the far right, are now butted up against the virtual desktop icons , and I now have a blank space to the right, which used to be in the centre, This is the second time its happened over the last few months , not a show stopper, just a very very minor annoyance

this -should- be fixed in trunk, can you try it as soon a 4.5 beta comes out?

Closing for lack of feedback. Please feel free to reopen this report if you can still reproduce this with KDE 4.8.3 or later.
