What I was doing when the application crashed:
I imported a calendar file with the merge option to existing calendar, and the reminder daemon crashed.

Is it possible to you to attach that calendar file that you tried to import?

Hello,

Here is the calendar file I tried to import and merge into the existing 
calendar. I ran a fresh installation of Ubuntu and Kontact in VMWare, 
and the crash happened again. Hope you can solve the bug with this.

I couldn't reproduce the crash, please try with KDE 4.4
