Description Sabine Faure 2010-05-08 00:25:35 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

- Launch Kmail
- In the Folder View an Imap resource is selected
- The tab at the top of the Message List says 'Empty'
- Click on the Imap resource inbox folder in the Folder View
- The name of the folder is now displayed in the tab
- Click on the Imap resource
- Its name is now displayed in the tab

The message list tab should never display 'Empty'. It should always display the selected folder or resource name from the Folder View.

Trunk, Svn Rev 1124075

Hi Sabine,

could you please check, whether this is still valid with the latest revision from git?
I think this bug is not valid anymore, as there is no tab shown by default when starting KMail - the tab panel is only shown when a 2nd tab is opened and in this case, the name of the 1st tab is correct.

Valid in master. New tabs are empty when opened:

1/ Middle click on a folder name,
2/ A new empty tab is opened.

Expected: the clicked folder messages are displayed
