Version: (using KDE 4.4.3) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages KAddressBook should ease migration from kab3 and when switching to a different computer for the casual user. Thus I suggest to run a import wizard on first run, which offers the following choices: 1) Importing an existing kab3 addressbook std.vcf file. It should auto-detect the file and auto select the option when it is found (also see bug #223139). 2) Importing an existing addressbook file in another format... currently KAddressBook / Akonadi seems to support vCard, CSV, LDIF, GMX file based addressbooks. The wizard should try to auto-detect the format of the address book file the user points at. 3) Importing an existing addressbook from an LDAP / AD server.
