Version: 4.4.2 (using KDE 4.4.2) Compiler: N/A OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages The die icon for the shuffle/random button on media players such as Banshee or Rhythmbox does not look like a die to people who have no idea what it is. Because it is a dark die with light dots (in contrast to other buttons which are mainly light coloured), it looks like a rendering error and system glitch rather than a die. One has to be told that it is a die, and look at it closely. On lower resolution screens, or for people with poorer eyesight, this looks worse. A die with light-coloured sides and black dots would match the style of other buttons, and look less light a smudge on the screen. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/oxygen-icons/+bug/576925
The specific icon is status/media-playlist-shuffle. Note that the 32x32 icon has less detail.
valid bug,,, but i think i need to redo the media player icons
