Version:           amarok 2.3.0 (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    openSUSE RPMs

amarok dont play music any more after update to 4.4.3.

Installation:
opensuse 11.2 and kde-factory-repos.
Sound-System: 
alsa <==> pulseaudio <==> phonon (xine-backend) <==> amarok

Description:
Under kde 4.4.2 amarok play music! 
After Update: 
Play Testsound in "Multimedia" Option ( Systemconfiguration ) play Music after hit the "Test"-Button 2-3 time
Amarok show to play Music, but no sound to hear.
Call over amarok the phonon systemconfiguration hit the test-button has no effect, no sound
juk dont play music too

playing over pulse (mplayer) works fine!
kaffeine works fine

Pulseaudio is known to cause problem.
And since juk doesn't play either, it's not an amarok bug.
The problem is in phonon and/or pulseaudio. I suggest you get help from opensuse people.

Please check with OpenSuSE, this seems to be distribution specific, another user has reported the same problem in the forum.
