On my client i'm using automount to mount nfs shares from a file server in the lan. if the nfs share not reachable  - for example if the server down - dolphin freeze and is not usable until the nfs share is reachable. in dolphin i add the nfs share to my favorite locations. the error ocurs also if i remove it from my favorite locations.
