Version: (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources The look of the tab-page-header does not show any connection to the icon and looks "lost" in comparison to other widget styles (see attached images as example). I'd suggest to use a similar look like in Plastique. The Dolphin preferences dialog might be a good usecase to verify the look in combination with several pages.

Hey, personaly I prefer our version specily in longuer ui's than the configure ui in dolphin exmaple Konqueror.... Now the problem is.... aparently we simply did not made that visual element in oxygen for reasons of probaly not wanting to had visual cluter...But over time many new ui's were created with this assumption, so if we now produce such a visual element im not sure what will be the overal implications of it.... I would prefer to start fixing the configure ui's in kde into somthing better.
@Nuno: I usually also prefer having no visual clutter :-) But in this case (and this is just my personal opinion) I think the header looks just "lost", no matter how the UI below the header is arranged (I tried already different approaches). However this is not so important I think, but maybe you keep this report in mind for possible future updates :-) Thanks!
Hello Peter We will not forget this report. I do think you have a good point about the lost icon. We need to figure out smthing. (remove the icon ? :)) Also: the vertical alignment between the text and the icon doesn't make things better (in both oxygen and plastique). We should fix that as well.
There is bad duplication here, actually. You have "Navigation" and a mouse icon on the left, and the same on the right. For what reason? This should be addressed first of all. And the component is generic configuration interface, isn't it? So that should be fixed in kdelibs (or kdebase, if that's where it comes from) rather that in Dolphin.
