Description bluelupo 2010-05-04 14:42:52 UTC
Version:           4.4.3 (using Devel)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Compiled sources

Hello KDE-Supportteam,
kontact after starting the KDE desktop and subsequent start of the address book is not available. The following error message appears (dialog) on the screen:

"No resources found intermediary" (in german: "Keine Ressourcenvermittler gefunden")

Before the start of kontact I have checked the status of akonadi server:

$ akonadictl status
Akonadi Control: stopped
Akonadi Server: stopped
Akonadi Server Search Support: available (backend: Virtuoso)

If you close kontact now one realizes that the akonadi Server now runs.

$ akonadictl status
Akonadi Control: running
Akonadi Server: running
Akonadi Server Search Support: available (backend: Virtuoso)

If you start now again kontact new one can easily access the address book. Why the akonadi service does not start when booting the KDE Desktop? Where can I set this option? Or is this a bug?

KDE version: 4.4.3
Linux: sidux (based on Debian unstable)
Kernel: 2.6.33-3.slh.5-sidux-amd64

Do you need more information about my system or the configuration?

Regards
Michael Singer
