Version: 1.0.0 (using KDE 4.4.2) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux Installed from: Archlinux Packages Steps to reproduce: - Open Kopete - Switch to a different desktop - Click on the Kopete's Systray icon to hide the contact list - Click Systray icon again to restore contact list Expected outcome: Kopete should pop up on the new desktop, or the desktop should be switched to show kopete Actual outcome: Kopete is minimized and restored on the other desktop, invisible to the user. I find myself pretty often navigating through all desktops and clicking the systray icon like crazy while searching my kopete window. If the the Contact list is hidden on another desktop, there is also no feedback to the user. So one doesn't know it the contact list is actually minimized or floating around on another desktop. A possible solution would be to restore the contact list always on the current desktop (i.e. like Kontact and Amarok do). Another solution would be to switch the current desktop to the one containing the contact list. Note: This does not happen if the contact list is closed using the window managers close button. In that case, everything works as expected. It happens only if the contact list is minimized using the system tray.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
