Description Christoph Wickert 2010-05-01 17:11:09 UTC
Version: kdepim-4.4.2-1.fc12.x86_64 (using KDE 4.4.2)
Compiler: gcc-4.4.3-4.fc12.x86_64
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

I'm using kontact with a Kolab server and we have a user named "shared" for our public calendar, shared mail folders etc.

When I click on "Serverside subscription..." I see my personal folder checked but no checkbox in front of the 'user' namespace (Image 1). There is nothing to indicate that there are subfolders under 'user'. Only when I double click on 'user', the tree is expanded and shows the subfolders correctly checked (Image 2).

The behavior should be consistent for both the private and the 'user' namespace:
- Both should have a + indicating the subfolders.
- Both should have a checkbox.
- Both boxes should be checked since I'm subscribed to all available public folders.
- Optional: If one is not subscribed to all folders the box should indicate this with be marked grey or something else should indicate that there are some subscriptions. Not really sure if this is correct or if it confuses other people.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
