(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kpilot Version: 4.0b2 (using KDE 2.1.1 ) Severity: normal Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.0 Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-79) OS: Linux 2.4.2 i686 OS/Compiler notes: The translation of the German "Umlaute" does not work in KPilot. I add an entry in korganizer including an "äöü" then KPilot adds some weird text in the Palm Pilot. regards -Sebastian (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog)
Hi Sebastian I recall fixing that bug before 2.1.1 (it's the same as an earlier bug #20318). If possible please update to the most recent sources. Otherwise please wait until the next release of KDE (2.2 of which the first *alpha* so preview code release is next week though your distributor might not provide packages for it). In the meantime I'd be interested in seeing the KOrganizer record that causes the problem. Perhaps you can send it to me? You can use any text editor to copy the text lines that make up the KOrganizer record in the .vcs file. -- +------------------------------+ | Adriaan de Groot | Drinken in een bepaalde tijd symbolisch | http://www.cs.kun.nl/~adridg | is in een andere tijd zuipen - Wittgenstein
Hi guys These (your) bugreports have been closed because I believe they have been fixed in the current CVS code for KPilot. If you can please update and give it a try. If the problem persists just let me know or file a new bugreport (with lots of extra accurate information). Thanks ade -- +------------------------------+ | Adriaan de Groot | Drinken in een bepaalde tijd symbolisch | http://www.cs.kun.nl/~adridg | is in een andere tijd zuipen - Wittgenstein
