Description Thomas Tanghus 2010-05-01 16:17:20 UTC
Application: plasma-desktop (0.3)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2)
Qt Version: 4.6.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-22-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
After having just installed Kubuntu 10.04 I was adding some Scripted Image Plasma Widgets. I then realized that I hadn't added an activity for each desktop so while the widgets where loading I right-clicked on the pager and selected "Configure Virtual Desktops".
I added two extra desktops to have 4 in total and checked "Different activity for each desktop" when plasma-desktop crashed.
This was a new installment but I had the partner and pre-release repositories added.
I had formatted / but kept /home although I had renamed ~/.kde.

 -- Backtrace:
Application: Plasma Workspace (kdeinit4), signal: Segmentation fault

I was adding 2 more desktops, just like the original poster. I did not select the "Activity Per Desktop" option, however. I am running Kubuntu 10.04 amd64 with both the Pre-release and Unsupported Updates enabled. There were no KDE updates that I saw when I updated from those repositories other then the release of KDevelop4.
