Version:           SVN HEAD (using KDE 4.3.5)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    openSUSE RPMs

The filter button on the right above the list of schedules lost it's functionality during the port to KDE4.

I don't quite get what you are trying to say. Is the filter's functionality broken over there? It works just fine here.

Yes, but it also does not work in 1.0.4.   Looks like it might be related to my data.  I'll try to find some time to fix it.
