Description 2010-04-29 18:30:26 UTC
Version: 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2) (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Mandriva Linux release 2010.0 (Official) for x86_64)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.33.2-desktop-1mnb

Now konqueror cant correctly display a simple website, it simply displays the menu structure with the image in the end of the page.
Again in other browsers (ie. firefox, opera) the website si correctly displayed.

Seams that developers dont care about konqueror development anymore, its becoming a too buggy browser and thats a pitty...

Forgot to mentoin the website in question -> http://www.in-systems.com

and this website is from an enterprise that makes computers, Insys computers.

Its the same in webkit. There is something wrong with that page.
Also, your tone is very rude. KHTML, konqueror's rendering engine is actively maintained and developed.
Comment 3 2010-04-29 18:47:35 UTC
As always its the website fault, like its google fault that konqueror isnt able to correctly render gmail.
Its never konqueror fault, but the fact is that firefox, opera, epiphany, etc, are all able to display the websites correctly, strange no?

About my tone is more about frustration, to see konqueror left apart.

Konqueror isnt even able to pass ACID3 test...

Well, given your clear concern for us, and proclaimed expertise in the matters of web, and how you name the website in question a simple website, I am sure I can count on your to produce a small (<10 lines) reduction of the bug?
Comment 6 2010-04-29 20:09:01 UTC
Its clear thats a webkit problem, still there are many konqueror issues that clearly shows thats there a very low level of concern.

If i know the code i would help. My first comments werent pleasent and i may have exagerated, and for that i ask apologies since i dont want to offend nobody work.

That's hardly a "simple website", the home page is >100Kb consisting entirely of JavaScript.

Firefox doesn't actually do very well on it either, it says:

  The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request
for this address in a way that will never complete.

Opera displays a blank page.

Even Internet Explorer 6 displays nothing apart from a black background.

I wouldn't buy anything from a company with such a website.
Comment 8 2010-10-27 13:52:24 UTC
The website http://www.in-systems.com doesnt exists anymore and were created one with other name:

http://www.insys.pt

But konqueror continues not being able at all to open the website in question, where other all other popular browsers (firefox, chromium, opera, etc) correctly open it.

Konqueror simply shows an empty page saying:

Cyclic Link Detected

But i have created a new bug report for this issue, bug 255397
