Description Silver Salonen 2010-04-29 15:22:54 UTC
Version: 2.3.0 (using KDE 4.4.2)
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

I just got some new MP3 files. After collection update, the files are shown to have album name from other files - it's like that in collection browser, playlist and even in track info editor.

I've seen it earlier too - in that case a wrong artist name was used.

After restarting Amarok, the correct tags are shown for the tracks.

Same thing happends to me, but after trying to use an external tag editor (Easy tag) Another related problem is that actually amarok doesnt seem to read changes I made to my sound files using MP3 Tag

When I try to edit the internal tag editor it places another name instead.

I saw the same problem several times; restarting Amarok after adding new files helped.

This sounds very much like bug 172542 and some symptoms around it.
