Description Lukas Sommer 2010-04-28 13:49:40 UTC
Version:           1.4 (using 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0), MS Visual Studio 2008 SP1)
Compiler:          cl.exe
OS: Microsoft Windows (i686) release 5.1 (XP Professional)

Please provide an easy way to show the avaible partitions on Windows. Maybe something like a KIO-slave "partitions:/"? This would be practical to access local Windows partitions.

("root" points to "C:/". But how do you access the other partions when you are not sure if they are named "D:/", "L:/" or "Z:/"?)
Comment 1 Hans-Rudi Denzler 2010-04-28 17:27:13 UTC
F9 ?
# fdisk -l
Comment 2 Lukas Sommer 2010-04-30 17:39:42 UTC
F9 (Folders) shows only C:/.

fdisk works, but is not really a good way ;-)

fdisk and places

Sorry, I'm running openSUSE 11.2, 11.1, 2x XP on 2 Harddisks.
During installation I have to know what is what.
blocks -> partition size -> E:/ of XP 1 or /home of 11.1 ?

Comment 6 Lukas Sommer 2021-03-09 06:28:02 UTC
Setting to RESOLVED UNMAINTAINED.

It seems KDE does not provide a complete installation for Windows any more, so Dolphin is not available on Windows any more. Therefore, is makes no sense to keep this bug report open.
