Description sylvainsjc 2010-04-27 16:16:03 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

I use Digikam 1.2.0 on Kde 4.4.2 (Mandriva 2010.0 Kde 32)

The plugins "Export Piwigo" worked 1 time only and i saw that the files was exported under upload/2010/04/27 directory and not in the repertory i've created under "galleries"

As it was missing some exif comments, i have deleted the repertory 2010 and make a synchronisation in Piwigo

Now i would like to export again with Digikam plugins but if i see the progress of the job, there are never any files in my piwigo directory

Digikam doesn't tell me anything about a supposed problem

how can I find information on a possible problem?

Hi,

I found that if I remove and re-write the captions of my photos in Digikam, the export works anew.

For all photos, i had to cut the text I had entered last week, then click on "remove entry for this language" and then to past the cut previous text and finaly apply

I Hope I was clear

It would be nice if the Kipi plugins could give more informations or logs when there is a problem

Hm, this sounds strange. Do you write meta data to your image files?
Comment 3 sylvainsjc 2010-05-01 16:35:35 UTC
Yes i write meta data to my image files
Comment 4 Johannes Wienke 2010-05-01 17:17:38 UTC
Can you somehow reproduce the problem now? Maybe the meta data confuse piwigo or the plugin.
Comment 5 sylvainsjc 2010-05-01 17:21:14 UTC
Ok I'm going to try

Kipi plugins can provide logs. You just have to enable "KIPI" modules in KDebugDialog application.
