Description Malte S. Stretz 2010-04-26 17:02:52 UTC
Version: 4.4.2 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-21-generic

In KAddressBook, you can type something into the Quick Search bar and the result list is filtered as requested. You can select a contact from the filtered list which is displayed correctly.

But as soon asl you click the Clear button in the Quick Search bar, the selection jumps back to the first contact in your list.

Hmm... actually, it seems like any modifications to the Quick Search bar does make the focus jump to the first item of the filtered list. Eg. you've got Anna and Anne in your address book, type An, select Anne, type another n and the selection jumps back to Anna though you selected Anne before.

Hej,

this is the intended behaviour, therefor it won't be changed.

Ciao,
