Description jweaver28 2010-04-26 03:50:25 UTC
Application: amarok (2.3.0)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2)
Qt Version: 4.6.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-21-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
I have a MB with onboard NVidia audio and video, including HDMI. However, I got no audio in Intrepid and Karmic when using the NVidia HDMI, and so used dvi instead. When I switched to an ATI All-in-wonder video/tv tuner card, it worked fine in Vista, but again I lost all sound in Karmic and now Lucid. I've filed bug reports, but they get ignored or summarily dismissed because of a supposed solution that doesn't work (produce sound). So in following the bug report steps on another HDMI/audio bug that wasn't solved, I was supposed to recreate a crash. So I called on Amarok to play a mp3 file, which duly crashed.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
