Description Clayton Oliver 2010-04-24 05:38:25 UTC
Application: knotify4 (4.0)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2)
Qt Version: 4.6.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-21-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
After about a minute or so of playing kdiamond (very hard level) I get a knotify crash notification. this has happened consistantly and has gotten to the point where I am now reporting it. Sorry, my background is not computing and I only wish I could be mre helpful. Also, I have a lot of programs loaded on my HDD and I am not sure that they are all appropriate for my disatribution as sometimes I just randomly pick programs to add. LOL but true

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Looks like a crash in vorbis decoder, but Phonon developers might have a look at it.
Comment 2 Clayton Oliver 2010-04-25 00:18:37 UTC
thanks, but I have NO IDEA about your diagnosis . . . its "GREEK 2 me"

good luck, your skills FAR exceed mine in this area

Indeed, the problem lies in the vorbis decoder. Please report this to your distribution.
