I'm using digikam 1.3. I just compiled it yesterday again. The Bug has been since I'm using 1.3 (like a week).
Sometimes when I rate for the first time in a session, digikam crashes. When I restart digikam it mostly works.



The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

At the moment I could reproduce the bug 5 times in a row... Each time with a different picture. The pictures are located on a network but the metadata should not be written to file at the moment.
So the crash seems to be related to the mysql part of digikam.

Can you please checkout
at least svn revision 1117680 and try it again?

I made some fixes yesterday in trunk.

If the error still remains,
can you please add the system output from the console?

After updating the svn and rebuilding it seems to work.
