Description cgc281 2010-04-21 21:06:02 UTC
Version: 0.4.0-1 (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Archlinux Packages

Special characters in the url bar are replaced with other characters when searching from the url bar.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Select the url bar.
2. Type in some search words containing special characters like quotation marks, apostrophes, etc.; e.g., 'joe's shanghai'.
3. Search.

Expected behavior: use the keywords as typed.
Observed behavior: special characters like quotation marks and apostrophes are converted in the search to '%27' and '%22'.

Me too. It happens with any special symbol, for instance & or %.
