Version: unknown (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-21-generic Is there any special reason why I do have to force a mount of an attached HD? The way I'm doing it is: I open Dolphin, an click on the Icon for the HD (it is recognized by the System). Right after a box pops up prompting me for my password before the HD is being mounted. Normally it works proper on the previous systems. Can you fix that?
If I forget to force mounting the system is amoust block and working extreemly slow!

Thanks for your fast reply after such long time. I assume that you also use KDE with Manjaro and there the issue is no longer happening (as you wrote it also seemed to have worked with previous systems you used, probably also with KDE). This might have been a downstream issue of Kubuntu maybe or just a temporal bug in the automounter that got fixed in between. I will mark this as resolved for now. If anybody is still experiencing this (or if my assumptions above are wrong), feel free to reopen :)
