Description Jose N Hinckel 2010-04-20 18:58:06 UTC
Version: 4.4.2 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2) "release 241", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.2)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.12-0.2-desktop

upgraded from kde 3.3.5 to 4.4.2
all contacts from addressbook were lost.
As I tried to import the cards from from /.kde4/share/... /kabc I get a window asking for a the "address book the imported contact will be saved to". But don't give me any options nor allows to type in.

Same behavior when trying to add/save a new contact.

Hej,

please execute the application 'kaddressbookmigrator' on the command line and then
add a 'Personal Contacts' address book inside KAddressBook by right clicking on the
left pane and choose 'Add Address Book...' from the menu.

Ciao,
Tobias
