Version: 2.3 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), volkerdi@slackware.com) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.33 Was playing in KLettres for a bit today - went through French and started on German. French works fine, but at level 3 in German, the program will not let me go past the word MUTTE. When I type it in, it simply does not proceed to the next word. Other 5-letter German words have worked. Have not attempted to confirm behaviour on trunk or with others on irc.
German data for KLettres has no word "MUTTE", only the word "MUTTER". But this word is not displayed properly (in recent branch), the last character is cut off. So you have to type "MUTTER" to proceed to the next word. This display error happens in all themes. Another reason why kde development should only be allowed using locale x-test ;-)
KLettres was developped to support only aplphabet and syllables, not full words. So the incriminated word should be removed from the German data file.
Created attachment 64159 [details] patch to remove the word mutter
I included the patch for the file /trunk/l10n-kde4/de/data/kdeedu/klettres/sound.xml, Revision 667470. /trunk/l10n-kde4/de/data/kdeedu/klettres/syllab/mutter.ogg should be removed as well. Please apply it to fix this bug (or attach this bug to the proper package), thanks :)
