Version:           4.4.2 (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), PCLinuxOS release 2010 (PCLinuxOS) for i586)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.32.11-pclos2

Unable to import contacts from file into Kontact. Does not matter what file format it is in. When window pops up asking you to select the desired addressbook, the window is blank.

Hej,

you have to add a write-able address book first before you can import contacts.
Do this by right click on the left pane of kaddressbook and choose 'Add Address Book'.
Choose 'Personal Contacts' there.
