Version: 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2) (using 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2), Kubuntu packages) Compiler: cc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-21-generic I'm using Kaffeine of version: Version 1.0-svn3 Using KDE Development Platform 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2) When I press F1 to get access to Kaffeine's Handbook, it goes to the KhelpCenter and says that ...The file or folder help:/kaffeine/index.html does not exist.
Normally this message occurs because no index.html manual page was placed at /usr/share/doc/Kde4/HTML/en/kaffeine/. The solution would be to place the index.html there. (If no Help Center manual is existing, it simply has to be written and placed there.)
Kaffeine in KDE4 does not have a documentation. I have changed the x-DocPath pointing to kaffeine's userbase page now. This is no bug in khelpcenter, so reassigning to kaffeine
This bug is too old, for a version < 1.3. Closing it, as the latest version is 2.0.1, and lots of things changed since version 1.2.x, including the usage of VLC as video display backend, support for DVB-T2 and ISDB-T via libVLC, etc. You may check on the upstream version and see if the bug was solved. The README file contains instructions about how to compile it. You can find it at our git repository: https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kaffeine.git If you find similar issues with version 2.0.1, please re-open.
