Description Neal Becker 2010-04-15 16:31:06 UTC
Version: 1.13.1 (using 4.4.1 (KDE 4.4.1), 4.4.1-6.fc12 Fedora)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32.11-99.fc12.x86_64

I use settings/composer/general/configure completion order to put akonadi personal contacts first, before recent addresses. But when kmail is restarted, the setting is forgotten. In fact, if I start kmail and look at the completion order setting, akonadi personal contacts isn't even there!

In kdepim 4.7 beta1, behaviour is quite the same, kmail remember order but do not use it ...

So if you have an ldap server, it always go before akonadi contacts... :(

Always true with KDE 4.8

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.

As far as I understand this bug *is* about KMail2. It is still present in version 4.14.2.
